Under new ownership (since Feb 08). The Albion is now a friendly, relaxed local with a fantastic menu and restaurant offer. The new owners are genuinely keen to provide what customers actually want and regularly ask for feedback, which is quite refreshing!
The new chef is fantastic and the menu offers something for everyone without trying to do too much... I'd recommend the slow braised lamb shank or the beef & ale pie ! There's also a quality steak menu and seafood options too.
Definitely worth trying if you haven't been in for a while - or ever before.
