The Friendly is a large family friendly pub, with a restaurant, pool lounge and 3 double en-suite guest rooms. The chef at the Friendly is one of the best in the Calder Valley. As well as being a 'local pub' with quiz nights and karaoke the Friendly also serves excellent food, from bar snacks to full three course meals. Sunday lunches are very popular. (currently not serving food on Mon/Tues) The en-suite rooms are very clean and maintained to a high standard. The pub has plenty of off-road parking. There is a covered outdoor smoking area in a courtyard to the rear of the pub. The ladies toilet is up a small flight of stairs.
