This is a great pub, and one of the few traditional pubs left in Chester. Formally owned by the ledgend 'Dixie Dean' of Everton FC whose goal scoring record of 60 socred in a single season still stands to this day.
Great food at a very reasonable price, great beer too. The barstaff are friendly and the landlady is beautiful.
The Dublin Packet is well worth a visit.
