The world's biggest pub crawl is well underway in order to build the database for this site. We will be adding further counties to this site until our exhaustive research is complete. Phew, it's a tough job but somebody's got to do it!
The WHEATSHEAF INN is a 17th century coaching inn offering bed & breakfast facilities situated at the heart of Exning village. Just 5 minutes drive from Newmarket town centre, it's prime location makes it an ideal stopover for race goers and also people going to Tattersalls sales.
The pub has recently changed hands and is now run by local racehorse trainers Ken and Jane Clutterbuck and is only 100 yards from their training yard.
The pub serves real ales and has a restaurant with a full time chef that produces quality home cooked food. The B&B has recently opened and has been finished to a high spec. Many have said that it has plenty of character to match. All rooms are en suite and have televisions and tea and coffee making facilities.
The gardens are superb and the pub is frequented by a cross section of people including other Newmarket racehorse trainers.
The pub offers everything all under one roof.
