The Sportsman, a Grade 2 listed building and now recently refurbished, is under new management. Matt Palmer and Michael Dunne have over 30 years experience in the restaurant and catering trade and welcome you to their new pub. Matt and Michael want to establish The Sportsman as a community pub. They look to source as much as they can locally to support their community and use, wherever possible, locally purchased organic ingredients for our pub food. The Sportsman is open 11am till 11pm every day for lunch and dinner and is also available for weddings, christenings, birthdays and private functions. It has a lovely large south facing beer garden for use when the weather is in our favour. Families are most welcome as too are walkers and cyclists.
