Welcome

The world's biggest pub crawl is well underway in order to build the database for this site. We will be adding further counties to this site until our exhaustive research is complete. Phew, it's a tough job but somebody's got to do it!

Description:

Situated within easy reach of Hampton Court and just minutes from Esher, a pub has stood on this spot for hundreds of years. The pub had been known as The Lamb and Star from the beginning of the last century until eleven months ago, and while the exterior of the building may look the same, you will be pleasantly surprised once inside. Having launched into a new phase of its history, the interior has been completely renovated and has a relaxed, welcoming feel. The white tongue and grove walls, friendly staff and soft leather sofas in the main bar area make you feel like you’re dining in someone’s home. The food at Ewe is lovingly prepared under the watchful eye of Head Chef, Aaron Tumata, who with over 12 years international experience has certainly made his mark on the mouth watering menu. Using only the finest local produce, the very reasonably priced menu is a mixture of traditional English dishes, with a few spicy surprises. The chef has created a very special menu with a selection of light starters and traditional English main courses. With sweets such as rhubarb crumble and strawberry cheesecake to finish your meal, you’ll be sorry if you don’t leave a little room! Booking is recommended, and when you do, be sure to request a table in the delightful sun lit conservatory, which overlooks the pretty garden area at the rear of the building.
