The Crown & Cushion is a friendly local that has a great reputation in Northampton. Run over the past 20+ years by Pete & Marlene who have made this pub a local landmark. The Wellingborough Road in Northampton is a very popular pub to pub hop, from the town centre up to the Abington area. The Crown has consistently been one of the busiest and yet most welcoming pubs in the town. Pete, Marlene and their staff have created the right mix with a lively atmosphere, with large screen TV sports, Music and Kareoke nights, whilst still being at heart, a great pub. Not too fancy, it is not a foodie pub but it is a good, honest pub with a great range of competitively priced beers, largers, wines and spirits and very nice staff. 10 out of 10 from me!
